Welcome to the home page of Hydra, a computer hardware description language (CHDL) that helps you to design digital circuits. Based on the standard functional programming language Haskell, its simple modular structure supports everthing from small low-level circuits up to complete computer system designs. All the software is free, runs on most major platforms, and can be downloaded from the web.

This page is just getting started, and the software and documentation are currently being revised.

An interim release of the software and documentation is available: 2003-11-05.tgz
