20th Scottish Handbell Day: Saturday 5th May 2018
Description
A day of quarter peals and general ringing on handbells. The aims are:
- For everyone to ring at least one quarter.
- For everyone to attempt a quarter of something that they have
requested.
- In general ringing, for everyone to have a chance to try things
that they want to try.
The planned programme will start at 11.00, but please feel free to
arrive earlier if that suits your travel plans. Handbells will be available...

Instructions for getting here by a
variety of means of transport.
Catering
We will provide lunch (bread, cheese, cold meats, salad) and dinner
(baked potatoes and something, salad, lunch leftovers). This will include
plenty of food for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans, but if you need
anything more specialised, please let us know.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits and cakes will be
available throughout the day.
If you would like to contribute something towards the catering then
biscuits, cakes or drinks would be welcome. We will also make a
collection for the Scottish Association bell restoration fund.
Bells
If you can conveniently bring a set of handbells, please
do so.
